Privacy notice

In short: if you join the waitlist we keep your email and a few details about the visit, only to tell you when craftrules opens. No advertising, no tracking cookies, no selling. Write to us and we delete it.
Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data described here is Saverio Mazza, who runs craftrules at craftrules.com from Italy. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect and why
Waitlist: your email address, the language of the page you joined from, what describes you if you chose it, and, when your browser sends them, the website that brought you there (its host name only) and the campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). We use them to tell you when craftrules opens and to understand who is interested. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form; you can withdraw it at any time.
Visits: our hosting and network providers process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who processes the data
Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) hosts the application and its database. Cloudflare, Inc. provides the network, protection against abuse, cookieless web analytics and the email that tells the operator about a new sign-up. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until craftrules opens to you and for twelve months after, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
Cookies
The public pages set no tracking cookies. If you pick a language, a small cookie (cr_locale) remembers it for a year. Signing in to the library sets a session cookie that is needed for it to work.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or to the authority where you live.
craftrules is not meant for people under 16.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves.
